How can you not want to drop everything and instantly enjoy a movie whose outstandingly sleazy alternate title is Butcher, Baker, Problem Maker? In this 1981 cult flick, character actor Susan Tyrrell stars as the extremely inappropriately overprotective aunt/guardian of a high school basketball star who gets hopelessly enmeshed in her scary world after she (oops!) murders a television technician who rejects her romantic advances– a crime the (homophobic, clueless) regional polices chalk up to a love triangle between the nephew, his basketball coach, and the victim. This film is hysterical, in every sense of the word. (Streaming on Shudder)
