Based on the kids’s publication by the great Neil Gaiman, Coraline leaves children with an ageless message: Beware what you long for. The titular protagonist’s exploration of a weird door in her new family’s new residence results in a creepy mirror globe that initially seems better-than-real, yet inevitably confirms scary. It’s not super-scary, however it might be way too much for children under 10 (particularly those scary button-eyes).
