11 Movies and Shows About Robots to Watch Instead of the New Season of ‘Westworld’ – Gizmodo

June 19, 2022 by Film

The new season of HBO’s dreary robotic drama Westworld will quickly return for its 4th season. In the words of Jeb Bush, “Please clap.”

Everyone has their preferences when it comes to TV and motion pictures. My personal preference is to steer clear of Westworld. I do not completely understand how it’s possible to make a show about killer robotics boring, however the developers of this status HBO drama have accomplished simply that. The series, which returns on June 26, has huge actors, huge budget plans, complete network support, and some of the coolest visuals on TV, yet it still can’t manage to eek out decent discussion, or plotting that does not feel both incoherent and in some way also predictable. Most of the characters speak in tired, fortune-cookie platitudes, and the efficiencies are better to what you ‘d get out of individuals who tasked with a washing device than an understanding humanoid escaping her wretched working conditions. It frequently feels that the program runners should have focused less on making something extensive and rather just tried to make something entertaining.

To each their own. When it comes to my “own,” I suggest you avoid Westworld and have a look at these 11 robot-focused options.
