Tommy Boy (readily available 10/1)
Chris Farley’s run as a big-screen leading man was cut tragically short, but it started on the best feasible foot: Tommy Kid, in which Farley stars as the maladjusted successor of an auto-parts realm, taking to the road in a last ditch effort to conserve the family business together with the snarky Abbott to his Bad Boys of Saturday Evening Live Costello, David Spade. It’s endlessly quotable (“Divine schnikes!”) and, in addition to the initial Wayne’s World, basically in charge of Rob Lowe’s 2nd act as a comedic ringer
