Today, Netflix
NFLX
revealed the Leading 10 english-language motion pictures and TV shows on the streaming platform during Week 27 of 2022 (July 4-10) in the United States. Let’s review those findings and observe the trends we have actually seen week over week.

Week 27: Leading 10 Motion Pictures on Netflix Sing 2 The Girl in the Photo

  • The Guy from
  • Toronto Mean Ladies The Sea Monster The Dark Knight
  • Increases Final Score
  • Wanted
  • Leave No Trace
  • Wild Card
  • While you may be led to think that The Woman in the Image was predestined to catch this # 1 position, you’ll need to remember that Sing 2 had a three-day running start. While The Lady in the Image held the # 1 position for 4 of the seven days recently, Sing 2 capture enough attention during its three-day stint in top place in between July 4-6 to move itself to the top.

With that revealing, Sing 2 has caught the leading spot for the 3rd straight week. In between June 20 and July 3, the animated hit accrued enough watch time to vanquish The Guy from Toronto. For the U.S. charts, Sing 2 was most likely helped by the streaming service’s vibrant audience, as the film has actually occupied the top area on Netflix Children for numerous days in a row.

Funny enough, however, Sing 2 wasn’t the # 1 motion picture on the international charts for any of those weeks. The Male from Toronto won Weeks 25 and 26, while The Sea Monster was the top motion picture recently. Sing 2 ended up in 4th place today on the worldwide rankings with 16,580,000 hours of watch time.

The Woman in the Image was able to record the # 2 spot, regardless of only being eligible for four of the seven days. That suggests the real crime documentary acquired numerous hours of watch time in the U.S. (the film collected 28,380,000 hours on an around the world scale). Apparently it was enough to beat out the other leading movies that were available all seven days last week, such as The Man from Toronto (which ended up in third 24,380,000 hours of watch time on the international charts) and Mean Girls (which completed all the method down in 8th place with simply 8,110,000 hours).

It’s striking to see that The Sea Monster ended up in first place on the international charts, thinking about the film was just available for 2 days. That suggests the film accumulated a ridiculously high watch time in just a couple days– 33,520,000 hours to be exact– which is pretty impressive. On the U.S. charts the film clearly wasn’t as effective, as The Sea Monster finished in just 5th place.

When it comes to the remainder of the Leading 10, there were no repeats from last week. And the only other film to cross in between the U.S. and international charts was The Dark Knight Rises.

Week 27: Leading 10 Shows on Netflix

    1. Stranger Things: Season 4
    2. The Umbrella Academy: Season 3
    3. Complete Stranger Things: Season 1
    4. Stranger Things: Season 2
    5. Complete Stranger Things: Season 3
    6. Alone: Season 8
    7. The UnXplained with William Shatner: Season 1
    8. The Umbrella Academy: Season 1
    9. All American: Season 4
    10. Traditions: Season 4

Nothing new here, as the 4th season of Stranger Things continues to dominate both the U.S. and international charts. For six of the 7 weeks Complete stranger Things has been available, it’s recorded the # 1 spot on each chart. The only week it dropped to second place was Week 25 when the third season of The Umbrella Academy took over.

After two more episodes dropped for the fourth season of Stranger Things, the program re-captured the leading spot recently and accrued its greatest watch time on a worldwide scale (301,280,000 hours) given that Week 21 when it premiered. And this previous week the program saw its fourth-best showing on a worldwide scale with 188,190,000 hours of watch time.

In overall, that brings the 4th season of Stranger Things’s watch time overall to 1.45 billion hours, which is 200 million hours except Squid Game’s record 1.65 billion hours. So if Complete stranger Things can have two more strong weeks– which it unquestionably will– then we’ll have a new leading pet dog by July 24.

Meanwhile, The Umbrella Academy kept the second-place position on the U.S. charts for the 2nd straight week, however was up to 3rd put on the international charts listed below the very first season of Stranger Things. On the worldwide charts, the 3rd season of The Umbrella Academy racked up 43,840,000 hours of watch time while the very first season of Stranger Things gathered 45,220,000 hours. The other 2 seasons of Complete stranger Things rounded out the leading 5 on both the U.S. and worldwide rankings.

In other places, the eighth season of Alone recorded the # 6 spot on the U.S. charts and the tenth-place position on the worldwide charts. Reveals like Manifest and Peaky Blinders were more popular overseas than they were in the U.S., where programs like All American and Legacies where able to chart on the weekly rankings. The only other crossover between both charts was the very first season of The Umbrella Academy.
