The Worst Movies of the 2000s – ScreenCrush

June 20, 2022 by Film

The 2000s are widely regarded as among the fantastic decades in the history of movie theater. It’s the era that provided us No Nation For Old Men, Zodiac, The Dark Knight, The Departed, The Prestige, Memento, Wet Hot American Summer Season, Talladega Nights, WALL-E, Memories of Murder, Punch-Drunk Love, and many more.It also provided us these pieces of junk.Of course, every decade produces bad films. (For proof, look here or here.) And in a sense, a genuinely bad film performs a public service. It puts things in point of view. Without the really terrible movies, how would we know what a truly terrific film appears like? The stinkers remind us not to take the work of arts for granted. So thank you, Transformers: Vengeance of the Fallen. This list would not be possible (or total) without you.Below, we have actually ranked our picks for the 25 worst motion pictures of the 2000s. Most you have actually become aware of. A few, if you’re really unlucky, you might have even seen. They run the gamut from superhero films to video game adjustments to romantic comedies to psychopathic vanity projects. However they all have something in common: They are bad. Really, extremely, very bad. Here they are, the worst motion pictures of the 2000s. The Worst Movies of the 2000s The 2000s were a great decade, but they produced some really bad movies.
