Connecticut offers both cityscapes and shoreline, country scenery and quintessential suburbia. These diverse settings might be the very reasons the state is seeing an influx of movies filming in the area — at least, that’s what director of Connecticut’s Office of Film, TV & Digital Media George Norfleet said.
“I think we’ve kind of got it all,” he previously told Hearst Connecticut. “Anything you want, you can find it here in Connecticut in a fairly compact space.”
Throughout 2021, a host of movies have set up production around the state: from Christmas movies to thrillers, Connecticut has served as the backdrop to several movies this year. Here’s a look at the movies filmed in the Nutmeg State that are making their way to screens.
